Rebecca Newberger Goldstein is the author of nine books, including Incompleteness: The Proof and Paradox of Kurt Gödel, which was chosen by Discover magazine as one of the ten best science books published in 2005, and Betraying Spinoza: The Renegade Jew Who Gave Us Modernity, which won the Koret International Award for Jewish Thought. She has won numerous awards for her fiction and nonfiction, including a MacArthur “genius” grant.
